Hello Mates,

Have you amethod to start the different OS through EAsy-BCD?

Thanks in advance and best regards. Arny

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question - can you rephrase?

I'll take a stab at it.

I think he has 8 Linux installations on a partitioned hard drive (with GRUB installed at / (the root partition) for each drive. He wants to use EasyBCD in a way that each individual Linux entry in the menu points to its' own GRUB installation, not the first one it finds.

Cant happen. EasyBCD is a graphical interface tool for Windows BCD. While it can boot GRUB and GRUB2 entries, it uses NeoGRUB for that, it is in no way a tool that can modify or work specifically with GRUB itself. If it was within a system that also contained Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8, then it might be possible. But if the system uses just Linux, then no. The member will have to modify GRUB themselves within one of the installs of Linux.

With GRUB, yes this is very much possible and very easy to use. Just manually select the partition that Linux is on instead of using the autodetect feature. With GRUB2, it's currently not possible though we are searching for a solution for the next version.
