6 entries in EasyBCD menu - only two seem correct

This is additional information for previously posted issue.
When I view the settings for EasyBCD 2.2, this is what I see:

There are a total of 6 entries listed in the bootloader. And the Default is incorrect. Windows 8.1 is on C:

I see only two options when the computer starts: Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.
Windows 8.1 is on C; Windows 7 is on E:

So it seems to me that only entries 5 and 6 are correct, but I don't know how to fix them. If I am correct, then how do I get rid of entries 1-4 and correct the default?

Don't touch anything - EasyBCD 2.2 shows both the BOOTMGR entries and the entries in the EFI bootloader. 2.3 Beta will change this behavior, even though it was initially by design. Stay posted here: http://j.mp/EBCD2 - it'll be in the next update, insha'Allah.

OK,
But that still leaves me with the first problem I posted. If I select Windows 7, all I get is a line of junk across the top of the screen. In other words, I can boot into 8.1 but not into 7.
If I do a legacy boot (press F12 for advanced options) from the SATA drive, I get two options (Windows 8.1 and Windows 7). I can boot Windows 7 from that menu but cannot boot Windows 8.1.
I don't want to have to use F12 every time I want to get to Windows 7 (which will actually be my default OS).
How do I fix the boot menu so I can boot into either OS normally?
