Access Privilege error and very slow program use

Running EasyBCD 2.4 Community Ed in Administrator account and get a privilege error - won't open program. Maybe my UAC or other not sure as some other programs same issue as this unless right-click and run as administrator, but this is built in Administrator account. Quad core and 16GB Ram.

Also very slow to load and change entries, move entries etc - though maybe the bcdedit.exe loaded by EasyBCD.
Tried program Process Lasso to even out ram and cpu usage but no good.
Also got an NVRAM error at one point.
My bios also locks up keyboard and mouse when save entries though saves do take.
Could it be CMOS battery?

Great program, I have donated, encourage anyone who uses it to do so - help the developers.
 
Update on this: Seems my issues with it being slow, admin perms etc gone now after I reloaded my latest bios flash again. I also changed my CMOS battery to brand new one - may have helped too.
