Add Version and Release Dates

I purchased Windows 10 Home version on 5/9/2024. I am trying to get my Dell Windows 10 Home working. Before I pay and download again, is the version you have on your website the same as that of 5/9/2024 or is it newer?

When I run the automated repair, your program informs me that I need a newer version. I do not want to pay for the same version again.

Please consider adding to your program names and your website, version numbers and/or build dates.

Hello Mike,

Thanks for your suggestion. FYI I checked and the version has indeed been updated since May of 2024.

The version available on Microsoft's website is typically the latest one, which includes all updates and improvements since the last release. For reference, the final version of Windows 10 is 22H2, which was released on October 18, 2022, and will be supported until October 14, 2025. If your automated repair tool suggests a newer version, it might be referring to updates that have been released since your purchase.
You can check the version and build number of your current installation by typing in the search bar or Run dialog (Win + R). This will help you confirm whether your version matches the latest one available for download.
Regarding your suggestion to include version numbers and build dates on the website, that's a great idea! I'll pass this feedback along to the relevant team at Microsoft.
