Adding BCD to Second Partition

Hi,

I used EasyBCD to dual boot Vista and Windows 7. I used the Easy BCD setup on my Vista partition to add the Windows 7. Now I want to remove the Vista partition but when I try to make my 7 partition "Active" it says bootmrg is missing. Im assuming I need the BCD on the 7 partition but I don't know how to do it. Can anyone help?

EasyBCD 2.0
BCD Backup/Repair
Change boot drive
Point it to W7 when it asks
(if W7 and Vista are on different HDDs, change the BIOS to boot from the W7 HDD)
Reboot
check W7 is now "system"
format Vista.
