BCD to Uninstall Linux Mint17 and Install latest Linux Mint 19

Hi

Is there a tutorial or something that gives me the procedure to uninstall old Linux mint17 and install new Linux mint as above.

My laptop is partitioned with Win7 and with Linux Mint17.


Do I lose data (Documents, etc) when Mint17 uninstalled ?
