Boot from Hard Disk

I am trying to change my bios password on my dell e6400, but my boot options are restricted to booting from the hard disk.
Is it possible to boot a program that I have to kill my old bios password directly from my hard disk, basically i want to install the program on to a clean hard disk to access the bios:lup:

No program can kill the BIOS password as it is.

What you'll want to do is unplug the PC, remove the BIOS battery for 5 minutes, power it on, power it off, put the battery back in and boot.
Or you might have a BIOS reset switch or jumper, depending on your motherboard make/model.
