Booting a IMG hard disk file.

Hello! I'm pretty new to these forums!
Today I installed ReactOS 0.3.15 in a QEMU .IMG hard disk, and found out EasyBCD could help me boot the image directly from my computer. I've been using BCD, and have had no problem, even when configuring it to boot Linux and Hackintosh, which run on my computer as well.

But I have come across a little issue; upon selecting the ReactOS entry, it just sends me to a GRUB prompt, not booting the OS at all. I have also tried the RAW partition, with the system dropping me some error with a header thing. Microsoft VHD, well, I know that's only for Windows 7/8.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I have tried a different OS (FreeBSD) as well, and I get the same result. Instead of booting, I get dropped into the GRUB prompt.

Hello? I still need help with this issue. Tried booting with images with other OSes, including Windows 9x and 2000/XP, and in different formats (VHD and IMA), with no success.
