Booting from .iso Windows 7 disk problem

Hi All,
I have nuked a partition on my HDD to put Windows 7 on, i did not get the original boot DVD with my PC (because its a Toshiba) but i downloaded a copy of Windows 7 and intended to use the key on the bottom of my machine to verify it. I used ImgBurn to put the image directly to a DVD-RW, changed the boot sequence and ran it but nothing happens on startup. Also should i be running this in AHCI or compatibility?

Paul, you may need to contact Toshiba on this one and have 'em send out a recovery kit. Product key or no product key its usually not a good idea to use some copy you found off the net.

Have you tried burning it to a DVD-R?
And Win 7 should support AHCI. I know my Vista does.
