Hello Wado, welcome to NST

What error are you getting with the Windows 7 entry? If it is you seeing the Vista animation as you boot Windows 7, this is a known issue and is being worked on.

Otherwise, please get the latest build of [thread=642]EasyBCD 2.0 Beta[/thread] and readd the entry when you are in Windows Vista.

Thanks for your comments.

The error that I get is something about "Digital Signature" .. . the last lines are ..

File: \windows\system32\winload.exe
status: 0xC0000428
Info: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file
I have installed easyBCD 2.0 and the configuration is ...

Is the new HDD a SATA or an IDE disk ?
If it's IDE, and you previously had it in the PC by itself while you installed W7, presumably it was jumpered as either "master" or "cable select". If it was "master", did you remember to rejumper it as "slave" before moving the original disks back, if you've moved it to the other connector on the ribbon.

Hi,

my HDisks are IDE.

I change the jumper to slave before moving the original disk back.

When I load the Vista OS I can see the another HD with the files that Win7 load.

Some time before I just do the same but with a Win XP. In that moment I need to copy some files from de HD whrere XP was to the HD where I have Windows Vista.

I dont know If I need to do something similar for the Win 7.

Is the Winload.exe file compatible between Vista and Win7?

Did W7 boot properly when it was the only HDD ?
You don't need to copy any files between systems. Simply adding an entry to the Vista BCD for W7 should have been enough. That worked fine for me.
The error you're getting seems to suggest some kind of I/O problem accessing the disk, rather than a boot problem. Thats why I suggested bad jumpering as a possibility, but if you've ruled that out .......
Have you made sure that the Vista disk is before the W7 disk in your BIOS boot sequence ?
Are the HDDs on the same channels as before you disconnected them and installed W7 ?
