Browse and Save Data

#1
I'm ready to install Win 10 but the system is warning it can't repair the system, even selectively.
I will not even be able to save my applications.
So, I want to save a few files using the Browse/Save feature.
I can use the command-line to locate the exact path to the file in question, and it looks fine.
Perhaps I can mount another USB drive to copy.
Barring that, how and where else could I save the file?
Regards,
JD

Well, after working on the problem, I discovered how to do it.
I am surprised that no one, either in the company. or on this Forum offered any help at all.
Can't imagine why that is.

You can save the file(s) anywhere you want except on that partition.
The question would probably be better asked on a general forum for Windows problems.

You can transfer pictures, videos, contacts etc to an external source such as a USB drive before you reinstall.
What operating system are you using and I will steer you to somewhere where you can obtain help.
This forum is for NeoSmart products.
So what is the OS?
