Can no longer boot into Linux using EasyBCD

I have Windows 10 installed on SSD1 and Linux Mint 19.1 installed on SSD2. I can boot Windows and (if I set my BIOS to boot from SSD2) Linux. But I can't boot Linux using EasyBCD!

The following procedure was working with Windows7 on SSD1 and Linux on SSD2
-Boot into Windows
-Start EasyBCD
-Click "BCD Backup/Repair" > " Reset BCD configuration" > "Perform Action"
-Click Add New Entry
-Click Windows, Type=Windows Vista/7/8/10; Name=Windoze 10; Drive=C:\; Add Entry
-Click Linux/BSD, Type=Grub 2; Name=Linux Mint; Drive=1; Partition 1; Add Entry

Subsequently:
-Click "Edit Boot Menu"
-Change the default OS to Windows; Save settings
-Restart --- The Windows bootloader shows "Windows" as the default, and boots into Windows with no problem.

Subsequently:
-Click "Edit Boot Menu"
-Change the default OS to Linux; Save settings
-Restart --- The Windows bootloader shows "Linux" as the default, and boots into Linux with no problem.

But, since I installed W10 on SSD1, the same procedure works for Windows, but when it should boot into Linux, I get "Minimal bash-like line editing...." At this stage, I can still boot into Linux if I set the BIOS to boot from SSD2, but not via the Windows bootloader, EasyBCD or iReboot.

Since it worked with W7, it would appear to be a W10 problem. I tried unchecking "Fast Startup" as advised elsewhere in the forum, but that made no difference.

Is this a UEFI PC ?
Did you install W10 in UEFI mode ?
If so see
EasyBCD and UEFI
If not, have you updated Linux recently ?
If so, are you using the latest (2.4) EasyBCD ?
2.3 was released before some recent Linux architecture changes.
2.4 has incorporated fixes for those changes.

2.4 has incorporated fixes for those changes.
1) The motherboard (not the PC) has UEFI capabilities, but the BIOS is set for legacy (CMS)
2) I installed W10 with the BIOS set for legacy (CMS)
3) I update Linux almost daily
4) I'm using 2.3. I'll try 2.4 and report the result.
5) EasyBCD 2.4 solved the problem.

Thank you
