Hello,

I had a dualboot with Win7 and linux.
Because I won't use linux anymore I would see that i can deleted the bootmenu so my computer boots directly into windows without menu.

Is that possible?

If you were using EasyBCD, and not your Linux distro's GRUB bootloader, all you have to do is:

  1. Open EasyBCD.
  2. Click 'Edit Boot Menu' on the left.
  3. Select your Linux distro in the list.
  4. Click the Delete button.
  5. In the Timeout options right below the list, choose 'skip the boot menu'.
  6. Now, in the View Settings area, the only OS listed should be Windows.
Be aware that doing this will not let you access your Linux install at all, so I recommend deleting its partition after following these instructions.

Oke,

How do you called the menu which you see with Windows 7, PC-bsd ?
And where you can select which OS must start up.

The menu presents the entries for each OS, and you can select an OS to boot by using the up/down arrows on your keyboard followed by enter. As for getting rid of the boot menu, you can either have it skipped or if you don't plan on keeping Linux you can delete the entry for it - with only 1 entry the boot menu is usually bypassed and so you would not see it on most computers which have a single operating system. Again, refer to the excellent instructions in post 2 to clean up your boot menu for a single OS.
