Can't start Windows

Hey, everyone. I’m a bit desperate here, so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

So, I have an Acer laptop, and I was messing around with EasyBCD without really knowing what I was doing. I ended up clicking that "Repair" option. After restarting my computer, I simply can’t access my operating system anymore. I’m taken to a black screen with the error 0xc0000034.

When I plug in a USB drive to try doing a clean Windows installation, I get the same error screen.

I don’t know what to do, I’m freaking out, and I know this mess is entirely my fault.

Hello,
It sounds like you're dealing with a corrupted Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file. Here are some steps to fix the error 0xc0000034:
  1. Access Recovery Mode: Power off your laptop, then power it on and immediately press and hold the power button to force shutdown. Repeat this 2-3 times until you see the Automatic Repair screen.
  2. Use Command Prompt: Go to "Advanced options" > "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Command Prompt."
  3. Run Boot Repair Commands: Enter the following commands one by one:
    sh
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot
    bootrec /scanos
    bootrec /rebuildbcd

  4. Restart Your Laptop: After running these commands, restart your laptop and check if the issue is resolved.
If these steps don't work, you may need to create a bootable Windows installation media and use it to repair your system.

Best regards,
Hixef Henry
