Does not Install. I have Windows Vista Ultimate and it has given little problem since I installed it 8 months ago. Now this important update will not install. Get same fail message 80070002. Went to support at Microsoft and did all I was to on clearing update logs and such. Still no help. Does that mean will have to reinstall Vista?:booyah:

After the installation fails, can you open the Event Viewer in Administrative Tools and see the details for the error?
 
Administrative Tools is not set to be on by default. You have to go thru the Control Panel or right click on the task bar go under the Start Menu and check the box to show the Admin Tools under the specific menu that you want. After you do that you can check it. :wink:
