Hey all,
Im having some problem with dual bootsing windows XP and windows 7, hopefully someone can help :wink:

I have 2 HDD, i installed Windows XP SP3 on one of them and then i installed Windows 7 (64bit) on the second HDD but after the installation i dont get that dual boot option, so after some research it lead me to Easy BCD and below is my settings, am i on the right track?

Ps, when i tried to add Windows XP initally it said i need NTLDR and NTDETECT.com which i got from this site put it in C: which is my Windows 7 and D: is my XP.

PHP:
There are a total of 2 entries listed in the Vista Bootloader.
Bootloader Timeout: 5 seconds.
Default OS: Windows 7
Entry #1
Name: Windows 7
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows
Entry #2
Name: Microsoft Windows XP
BCD ID: {ee132086-b09a-11de-8d3a-87bb5d291d86}
Drive: D:\
Bootloader Path: \NTLDR

Hi Zero, welcome to NST.
It's all in the sticky.
You don't point the BCD at XP, that's why the option is "greyed out".
Get EasyBCD 2.0 latest build.
Delete your XP entry.
Add it again
Accept the offer to auto-configure
Don't change what it sets up.
