Hi.
I have Windows XP Professional servicepack 3,32 bit and want to dual boot with windows 7 on one hard drive.
I know if you have installed Win 7 first it is possible, but i am wondering if it is it possible to dual boot with Win XP installed first?????

It is not necessarily a good idea to have both operating systems installled on the same hard drive - unless you forgot to mention it was one drive with at least two partitions.

You will need to create space for a new partition first (with a 3rd party partition manager. iirc XP cannot "shrink" the way Vista/7 can).
All multi-booting requires a separate partition for each OS no matter what order you choose to install them.
No problem with sharing a HDD.
