First of all, cheers for the GREAT tool.

I have a similar problem; i want to boot from 2 HDD.

First HDD (and first on BIOS) has Windows Vista x64

Second HDD has Windows XP x86

I can choose on Bios what OS (HDD) i want to boot, but i prefer a a Boot Menu through EasyBCD.

Windows XP partition is recognized on Vista like X: but if i add a new line to BCD pointing to X: and OS = Windows XP it does not work. Two items appear on boot menu but XP does not boot and Pc reboots.

May you help me? Thanks

This is my config, and XP does not boot.

There are a total of 2 entries listed in the Vista Bootloader.
Bootloader Timeout: 30 seconds.
Default OS: Microsoft Windows Vista

Entry #1

Name: Microsoft Windows Vista
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows

Entry #2

Name: Microsoft Windows
BCD ID: {e60bd64f-b697-11de-a073-00241dd1cf58}
Drive: X:\
Bootloader Path: \NTLDR
