dual OS problem

Hi there,

i have Compaq desktop P4 3GHz with 1GB ram ............ preinstalled Vista Home ........ i did shrink the drive and make another D drive with 60GB size. and installed XP professional successfully. when it reboot the system it gives me the error " OS error ". Cant boot the system either OS.
cant figure out how to fizx this.
need help

qaiserf, welcome

Your XP installation appears to have gone bad. You can get back Vista with a Vista DVD/our recovery disc using the instructions in our wiki. You won't be able to use XP though I'm afraid. You can try of course, but you may need to re-install again or obtain a new disc if the disc is bad.
