When I open up EasyBCD 2.3 it says:
EasyBCD has detected that your machine is currently booting in EFI mode. Due to limitations set by Microsoft many of EasyBCD's mult-booting features cannot be used in EFI mode have been disabled.

How can I add Linux to my bootloader. My laptop is HP G255 running windows 10

You can't.
MS won't allow the EFI bootmgr to boot "foreign" OSs.
EasyBCD cannot be used to circumvent the restriction.
You can however install Linux and allow it to take control of the boot process.
Once running, grub will happily boot the Windows OS for you.
