Hi need some help
I have a new HP 251-a12a system with win 10 installed. Having been trying to dual boot with mint17.3.
I have changed bios to legacy mode, and disabled quick startup etc. I installed mint with root, and swap partitions. then rebooted back into windows to easydbc setup, make a new os, find ext partition and save. When I reboot to mint through boot menu option for mint it tells me there is no partition and puts me into grub rescue. To get back into windows I run EASYRE PRO which allows me to reboot back into windows. Then I start all over again . Am I wasting my time trying to dual boot with this HP UEFI bios. The bios seens to be watered down with minimum options.
Greatly appreciate any work around.
