EasyBCD 2.0 Error

@semi, do you have .NET 2.0 installed on XP. It's a prerequisite for EasyBCD.
@kvaju, that's not an error, it's a statement of fact.
EasyBCD configures the Vista/7 BCD which it assumes will be in the "system" "active" partition.
If it isn't there ( It won't be if you are using XP and Linux and not Vista/7), then it asks you what exactly you want it to operate on.
What do you want to do with EasyBCD ?

That was it, Thanks!

Addendum:

Ok now I have a new problem, my system is windows xp but for some reason EasyBCD thinks it's Windows Vista or 7. When I try to add an entry for Windows XP i get this:

Even if I select the drive for it, it does that. If I try to add an entry for Windows Vista/7 it works, even though I don't have that installed. What's going on? Do you know how EasyBCD determines what OS is on the partition?

EasyBCD is for Vista/Win7 to easy setup and configure the BCD loader to work with multiple operating systems. It is not for use with XP. XP uses a different boot loader. So you have to force an XP System to install the BCD and use it if you wish to use EasyBCD.

It isnt a bug, it isnt a flaw, it is how it is designed. Your trying to use a program that is not designed for XP with XP.
