EasyBCD 2.1 Won't Install on Windows XP Home SP3

I've gone thru your forum and uninstalled/reinstalled following directions but still receive same error when I try to install EasyBCD 2.1. Also, per Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs, I have installed .NET Framework 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, 3.5 SP1. Thanks for your help in advance!

It won't install, or it won't run? And have you tried EasyBCD 2.1.1. beta from EasyBCD 2.1.1 Beta Builds

EasyBCD 2.1 installs and creates its directory structure and I can access it via the Start button. It is located under Program Files. However immediately after initiating EasyBCD, either right after installation or later via the Start menu, the system displays a message stating an error prevented it from starting.

Please note I also downloaded the beta version and got the same results.

P.S. The Beta build I used was 152
P.P.S. Also tried rebooting but got same error message as before when trying to start program

Addendum:

Have given up on EasyBCD and am searching for another tool w/similar functionality. In the meantime used Sysinternals Process Monitor to filter and capture output of EasyBCD as it starts and ends in .csv, .pml and .xml formats. Pls advise if you are interested.
