EasyBCD 2.2 Won't Start

In Windows 7 Professional 64 bit EasyBCD won't start. When I click my desktop shortcut the busy cursor shows up for a few seconds then closes, and nothing else happens. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but it makes no difference.


Help in resolving this problem would be appreciated.
