EasyBCD 2.3 does not function on Windows 8.0

Dear All, and Support
I'm new here. I tried to solve a problem on a configuration running Windows Vista, but with a left over
dual Win 7 boot option and want to remove the latter.

I just downloaded EasyBCD 2.3 after receiving a message from Neosmart.
I installed it on my windows8.0 desktop. After starting the tool I get the error
message that i cannot start the program. I tried after that to start EasyBCD in compatibility mode WinXP,
up to Win 7, also with Administrator mode, and also with Defender switched off. All the same error.
I found back version EasyBCD 2.2. This version works fine.

Q1: Is this a known problem?. Any suggestion for a solution?
Q2: Does version 2.2 support Windows 8 and Windows 10?

We believe that this was caused by an incorrectly uploaded copy of EasyBCD 2.3 to our file server.
Can you please try download it again and re-installing?

Thanks for your very quick response. Indeed, I did download just now the version and it works great.
