EasyBCD does not want to work

I have installed EasyBCD 1.7.2 in Windows 7 Pro. After the start of EasyBCD appears the following window: „EasyBCD does not function any more> Break“ and the window is closed. The same also happens with the version 2.0.
What can this lie with?

Uninstall EasyBCD
delete the C:\users\your name\app data\local\neosmart technologies folder
Install EasyBCD 2.0 latest build
(1.7 pre-dates W7 and doesn't support it)

Sorry, there is no file or folder -
and the build 100 did not works, too!

Terry: Not necessarily. It's only there if EasyBCD was successfully run one or more times. And in build 100+ it never gets created.
