easybcd to dual boot xp and mac os x without having vista??

hello you guys i want to use easybcd but i would like to know if i can use it without having vista installed on my pc . i jus want to boot XP and Mac OS X ?!??

im asking this because when i try to install it . it asks me if i have vista installed on my computer???
