EasyBCD Won't open on Windows XP

Hey,
I had windows XP in C: and Vista in D:. Now I have formatted C: and installed a new XP. Now, I can'r boot into my Vista in D:. Pls. help. I tried to install easybcd on xp, it installs but won't run. What do I do?

Hello iaent. Welcome to NST!

Do you have .NET 2.0 installed on XP. That is a requirement to run EasyBCD on XP. Also have you tried to repair you Vista bootloader?

"won't open" isn't very helpful.

What error messages do you get? What does the screen show? etc.

I get the same - you click the easybcd icon, the egg timer appears for a minute, then dissapears, but the app doesnt run

I've reinstalled .net 2.0, and various versions of easy bcd to no avail.

Any ideas on what to try next?

i have .net fraework 1.1, 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, 3.5 SP1...
what i must do ?

Install .NET 2.0 from Microsoft:
