EasyBCD2.4 with 3 OS partitions

Finally I decided to do the following after backup. As I am not quite certain if I still can install Win7 without knowing my original Win7 key.

  • EasyBCD (on my win10 partition)
  • Option BCD Backup/Repair
  • Recreate/Repair BCD files > choose drive C (which is my Win10
  • Performance action > I notice active partition has change from boot partition to C:

I also notice c:\efi\Boot is empty (no file)

Next, I select following on EasyBCD
  • Add new entry
  • Add C:\ and "+" ==> seem file created in c:\efi\Boot
  • Reboot

and my PC goes directly into Win10 (with selection menu from EasyBCD, guess is due to only 1 OS added.

Seem after that, my PC can upgrade to Win11 without issue. (My PC did not have UEFI and secure boot enable).

Seem "changing boot partition" option did not work well in my case.
