EBCD for Vista Recovery

I downloaded both the software and the ISO from NeoSmart, and followed the directions to create a bootable USB since I'm having problems with a black screen w/ mouse cursor, but unable to log in or unable to boot safemode. When I go through the process of following the instructions/guide, this following pop-up never happens for me:

So I ignored it at first, attempted booting from the USB after finishing the guide up, and it said there was no bootable device error. I'm gonna be super annoyed if I just spent $19.95 for this iso for it not to work, so I'm hoping someone can help me here before. Thanks in advance!

Your question has to do with Easy Recovery CD's right? All I can tell you is those CD's can not & do not replace a system disk. That doesn't have support here as per the sticky at the top of that section: Send EasyRE support requests to [email]EasyRE@NeoSmart.net[/email] - you can also ask for a refund if you wish.

Well, huh. I downloaded the ISO under the impression I can create a bootable USB with it to run the repair option for my desktop. I suppose that isn't an option, I'll ask for a refund. Thanks for the reply!

OK good luck. It can repair some things but not an entire OS.
