I looked through a lot of material on this site but could not figure out how to do this.
I have a PC that can boot into either XP or Win7, the latter being the dfault. When I'm booted into Win7, I can use EasyBCD (or the command shell) to change the default OS to XP at the next restart. When booted into XP, is there a way to change the BCD entries so that it will reboot into Win7 at the next restart?
The reason I need to do this is that the target machine is remote and I can get a remote desktop session going when its booted into either OS but I'm not able to choose the OS to boot into at the lower level (pre-boot?) prompt.
Thanks.
