error messages on logon

they say this:

nod32 doesn't detect anything and i don't have a clue what they are. they keep generating at regular intervals so i have a line of them going down my desktop.

Check your startup list, does it have anything unusual?
(I recommend Startup CPL from mlin.net)

some stupid little program in the system folder called wel.exe that got put in hklm\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run. i saw it there before i posted but thought it was the tablet pc welcome screen or something.
