Error on install

Hello All;

I am trying to install EasyBCD 2.0.2 on Vista Basic but keep getting the error message " The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect". I have downloaded it from 3 different scources with same result. Could someone please tell me what I need to do?

That's an MSVCRT error.

When *exactly* do you see this message?

No..It is using the firewall in Vista

When I double click the install file is when it comes up. It even comes up when I right click on the install file and choose Run as administrator.
