Error Starting EasyBCD or iReboot on Windows XP

I have EasyBCD and ireboot installed on Vista and they work fine. They will not start on XP, both say 'the program has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.' and has a close button. I have uninstalled both and re-downloaded and installed them again but still same error. Is there something I am missing why they will not start on XP?

Hi Scooter, welcome to NeoSmart Technologies.

It sounds like there may be something wrong with your .NET Framework installation - there is no reason why both iReboot and EasyBCD will AV like that.

If it was a bug or a problem with the code, you'd see a JIT window like this:

Whereas this indicates a possible problem with your PC:

At any rate, try reinstalling the .NET Framework from this link, and see if that fixes it?
