F8 Advanced Boot Options does not work

It's a matter of timing.
F8 is an interrupt to the normal boot which tells it to divert to the extended menu.
You need to select whichever OS you want, then immediately afterwards start tapping F8 repeatedly.
Each OS will process its own interrupt and take you to its own extended menu, so there's no way to pre-select F8. It can't know which OS's extended menu to display till you've selected one.
