I was successful in almost every aspect of getting XP and Vista on our new laptop. I used EasyBCD to set the boot timeouts and the other options, and it was very easy. I installed it on the Vista side and it worked like a champ. The XP side, however, (which I will use when we transition to Vista) is not so happy. I checked the other posts (research first!) and it said to install .NET 2.0, which according to the Add/Remove Programs, it is installed. The laptop has been rebooted after the install, and EasyBCD was installed again after the reboot, but I am still getting the error message. Any other suggestions?

Can you please to reinstall the .NET Framework from this particular URI and see if that fixes the problem?

You shouldn't have to reinstall EasyBCD afterwards.
