GRUB has taken command since updatng Ubuntu

I run Easy BCD (v 2.1.2.156) which is set up to default boot into Vista. All was working well with my dual boot system (Vista Home Premium SP2 and Linux-Ubuntu) until I recently updated to the latest version of Ubuntu (3.20-29).

Since then the boot loader has changed to GRUB (v1.99-21 ubuntu 3.1) which default boots into Ubuntu. Unless I remember to watch it throughout the start up I then have to restart and select Vista at the Grub screen which then takes me to the Windows boot loader. Easy BCD still reports that Vista is the default but it appears that Grub is taking command and elbowing Easy BCD to one side.

Any suggestions how I can take control again of my messy start-up (either by changing the GRUB default or loading straight on the Windows boot loader, whichever is easier)?
