grub4dos (part of EasyBCD) does not recognize Linux partitions on a 2 TB drive

The subject says it all. All details can be found in the parallel forum, starting with this post.
Note that EasyBCD itself has no problem recognizing partitions on large drives, but grub4dos (used for Grub2 option) can't recognize, mount or boot those.

I thought I'd report this bug here, because the testing in that other thread really narrowed the problem down to grub4dos (as included in EasyBCD) and the size of the drive.
