Hi,

I have Windows 7. Here is the information:

There are a total of 3 entries listed in the Vista Bootloader.
Bootloader Timeout: 1 seconds.
Default OS: Windows 7 Professional (recovered)

Entry #1

Name: Windows 7
BCD ID: {3657ebe1-d4e6-11dc-88f0-ec9c0d1f1864}
Drive: Active Boot Partition
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows

Entry #2

Name: Windows 7 Professional (recovered)
BCD ID: {default}
Drive: Active Boot Partition
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows

Entry #3

Name: Windows 7 Professional (recovered)
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows

Entry 3 is the working OS right now, but when I boot up, it tries to start entry 2. I hit enter then I have the option of selecting entry 3 to start

I beleieve the two extra entries here were a result of Spotmau backup software and/or the Windows 7 repair took. I only have Windows 7 installed on my laptop..no other operating systems.

Please give me directions on how to clean this up so that I just have one operating system that displays and is working!

Three Boot Options

If i simply remove the two "recovered" boot options as you suggested, can I be sure that my system will boot? One of the "recovered" boot options is the only boot option that works to boot right now. So I want to be careful before I make changes!

You already know which one is working (the thrid one), so delete the other two or delete them all and re-add as CG suggested.
