Have you used EasyRE for Windows 7.iso ? Can you confirm if it's a non-destructive repair?

Hello

RE: EasyRE for Windows 7.iso

I hope someone can share their experience after using EasyRE for Windows 7.iso
because I need confirmation that it is a non-destructive repair OR IT IS NOT?

I sent an email to EasyRE@NeoSmart.net around 1 am today (29 July) - I thought I
might have received confirmation that it has been received.

Going through this forum I note a number of unhappy campers, because they have
not received any help, after a long time waiting.

I'm sure the guys at NeoSmart must have so many emails to deal with, and the fact is
I might not get a reply for quite some time.

Although I sent NeoSmart a detailed account of what has happened - at the start of
the email I asked a couple of very simple questions.

So . . . because my back is against the wall, time-wise, is there anybody that can
confirm that if I run EasyRE for Windows 7.iso the following will happen or it will not.

Q1 IF I DO NOT BACK UP: Personal data/stuff/photos - Software, etc

Will it all get deleted in the process of running EasyRE for Windows 7.iso?

Q2 If there is a chance of data loss . . .

Would I be better off with a Repair Install?

The reason I ask the above, is because I found conflicting advice within the many,
many pages of the NeoSmart website, that made me question about a
non-destructive repair with EasyRE for Windows 7.iso

I've had serious problems since Windows updates: Patch Tuesday 9 April 2019
or Crash Wednesday as it's known!

It corrupted the registry plus in effect, it has impacted on every turn I’ve taken
trying to fix it since then.

At the moment I have a working machine that’s hanging on by a thread.

I've been working on fixing it most days since April.

The more I did, the more I found.

So I would be grateful if you've had success with EasyRE but more importantly
that you can confirm that it DID NOT WIPE OUT YOUR PERSONAL STUFF

I could back up everything, but the reason I am trying to get confirmation that
my Personal Stuff is safe and will not get wiped is because of this;

I do have a special project that’s ongoing that’s taken
three years so far that is linked to CAD software.

I have a serious problem with this CAD software – that was
brought second hand - but was still pricey, inasmuch that
I cannot find the license key!

To make matter worse - the project is not finished yet.

I have "back up's of back up's" of the project every step of the way,
but as you know they are useless without the software.

Appreciate any help or accounts of 'Data Wipe' with EasyRE Good or Bad.

Or "no you're good to go,
you have nothing to worry about"
EasyRE is a non-destructive repair.

Many thanks.

Stephen
