Hello all,
i try to switch booting W10 from an old SSD (C:\) to a copy of W10 on a new wider SSD (G:\), i created a new entry to the G drive (Windows10G) on EasyBCD but when i try to boot with it, the computer boots on my C drive anyway with the name i gave for the G entry ...
Do you know how to proceed to boot on my G drive ?
Thank you very much

Disk Management flags have the following meanings

"boot" = "this is the system you're running"
"system" = "this is where I found the boot files for the currently running system"
"active" (on the first HDD in the BIOS boot sequence) = "this is where I started the search for the boot files"
"active" (on subsequent HDDs in the BIOS boot sequence) ="this is where I will look if I don't find something in the MBR on the first HDD"

Check which OS is really running using the above flags. You might not be on the OS you think you are.
