HELP NEEDED!

In the 'add os' section in easyBCD I accidentaly added Linux to my list of os's when I hadn't installed ubuntu 9.04 yet. I tried to delete it from my list but that wouldn't work either (it would just delete vista/longhorn:rage:). The next time I shut down my computer and then started it up again it would ask me to locate the drive where I installed ubuntu. Though because I havnt installed ubuntu yet I don't know what to do. I don't know how to start up vista anymore cause the message keeps comin up and I have no idea how to. Plz help!

If you have the Vista install dvd or recovery disc, Boot it, - windows loads files - select language and keyboard, Next.

You get a screen saying install now - don't click that bit.

Underneath it says Repair my computer - click that.

It will probably go straight into auto repair.

If not, highlight Vista in the box showing installed operating systems, click Next, then click on Startup repair.

If you don't have disc - NST hosts a download - it is a torrent file - so you need a torrent client to d/l it:

Windows Vista Recovery Disc Download The NeoSmart Files

You should only need to do Step One here:

Recovering the Vista Bootloader from the DVD - NeoSmart Technologies Wiki

Hope it helps.
