Help with a tablet that won't start

I purchased a tablet last night and decided to run Malwarebytes on it... That came up with a trojan. I told it to remove and restart, then I got the error message " Windows could not start because of an error in the software. Please report this problem as : load needed DLLs for kernel" sooo I started by putting Puppy Linux on, that was able to boot from the USB drive that I have and work okay. Unfortunately, I need XP to go on... So I replaced the .iso for the linux using a program with a .iso for windows and now I'm getting stopped at a screen that simply says "Syslinus 3.86 2010-04-01" The .iso should've loaded properly... Are the two interfering with each other?

It's a Fujitsu tablet running windows XP.
