How do I do an individual post?

Addendum:

Upgraded from XP to Win7 32 bit. No problems until I ran the updates. My computer starts and goes to black screen with flashing cursor. I downloaded and used the 32 bit Win 7 repair iso. I was prompted to press any key to boot from CD but when I did nothing happened. Any suggestions.

Check to see if your drive is listed first as the primary and the CD drive secondary. If you ran the recovery tool these 2 need to be changed round so the hard drive is set to boot first.

MAKE YOUR PRESS F10 TO SAVE AFTER YOU CHANGED AROUND THE BOOT PROCEDURE IN THE BIOS SETUP MENU
