Hide Win7 Partition from XP

Hi guys,

Hope that one of you guys will be able to help me with this issue. I have XP and Win7 on the same disc but on different partitions.

I have gone through this "How To" How-To: Hide Vista Partition from XP - Neowin Forums

And while it works when I select "NeoGrub Bootloader" to load XP with the hidden 7 partition which works, when I select Windows 7 in the Win7 Bootloader, it gets up to the splash screen and nothing else. It just doesn't fully boot into windows.

That post is copied from here, which has subsequently been updated to reflect that it was incorrect (the reason why I first came here 2 years ago), and also that it has been superseded.
You might not need any method of hiding the partition at all, if this works for you.
(It didn't work for me, which is why I originally used Neogrub, and subsequently HnS - but it seems to work for most people)
