How can I install the BCD onto Server 2008 (Primary partition)

Hi

I have 2 virtual drives.

One I installed vista on. Then I added another drive, and install Server 2008 from Vista to it (for some reason, wasn't able to boot to the Server 2008 disc... so I tried this method).

Server 2008 works fine. :booyah:

Now I would like to be able to boot just to this Virtual drive which only contains Server 2008. To do this, I need BCD.

I've tried recreating the BCD using 3rd party tools, including EasyBCD and Vista BootPro.

Hasn't worked for me so far. :rage:

Please tell me exactly what I need to do.

Thanks in advance,

Panarchy

PS: Using VMware Workstation 6.5.1 with Vista x64 as the host. Installed Vista x64 on one SCSI drive, then shutdown, added another hard-drive, then booted back to Vista. From within Vista, I installed Server 2008 (setup.exe), on the other SCSI hard-drive.

PPS: All partitions are primary partitions, NTFS and are installed into the MBR.

Version 2?

Addendum:

EDIT;

Hi

Okay, well I've downloaded it and installed it to my Vista.

Now what? Can't see any setting for (re)installing the BCD!

Please help!

Thanks in advance,

Panarchy

Sorry, I was too quick to jump on giving you advice for a feature EasyBCD will have, but doesn't at the moment. CG's still working on it, but rest assured it'll be in one of the next builds up until EasyBCD 2.0 final is released.
