Our sales team has been asked to share customer contacts on their mobile phones so they can easily reach customers while travelling or visiting clients.
The problem is that we have been saving customer details in Excel for years. Each salesperson has their own list, and now there are hundreds of names, phone numbers, email addresses and company details spread across different files.
A few days ago, one of our team members needed to save around 300 customer contacts on his phone. He started adding them one by one, but it was taking far too long. That's when we realized we needed a better way to move all these contacts from Excel to our phones.
I searched online and found that Excel customer lists can be converted into VCF files. While looking for a suitable option, I also came across GainTools Address Book Manager, which offers a secure Excel to vCard conversion. It support many features like batch processing, preview, and accurate preservation of contact information.
Has anyone here used this tool? I want to know if it can handle a large Excel customer list without missing details like phone numbers, email addresses and company names.
Also, if we have several Excel sheets with some of the same customers, would it be better to combine everything first or convert each sheet separately?
Would really appreciate advice from someone who has already done this. I don't want our team to spend time fixing contact details after the conversion.
