How do I use EasyBCD with XP copied?

#1
Hi,

I have an install of Vista 64 installed. I also had XP Pro 32 going on a separate physical drive. I backed up the XP and restored it to a separate partion on the Vista drive. I'm trying to dual boot with no luck. I have copied the ntldr and ntdetect files over to my c drive root (boot - vista partition). I now get a message stating "can't find system32\ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt."

Is this not possible as a procedure? Any help is appreciated.

Hi Jeff, welcome to NST.
Download EasyBCD 2.0 latest build.
Delete your XP entry
Add it again
Let 2.0 auto-configure the XP boot.
