How does the 2MP resolution of this USB Camera impact its performance in document scanning and barcode reading for kiosks?

Hey, can anyone help me out and recommend a good USB camera for scanning documents and reading barcodes in kiosks? I’m looking for something with around 2MP resolution that won’t mess up the scans. It’d be awesome if it’s got autofocus, so it can adjust when things aren’t lined up just right. Any ideas on which camera would work best for that?

Yep, I gotcha! If you’re looking for a solid USB Camera for scanning documents and reading barcodes in kiosks, a 2MP one should do the trick. It’s clear enough for the job and won’t mess things up. It’s not super high-res, but it’s perfect for kiosk tasks. Plus, with autofocus, it adjusts automatically if things aren’t lined up perfectly. So, if you want something that works smoothly and reliably, this camera’s a solid choice.

If you’re looking to add a reliable USB camera for scanning documents and barcodes in a kiosk, a 2MP camera is definitely worth considering. It’s got the right clarity for scanning tasks without any extra, unnecessary frills. The autofocus is a huge plus too, since it adjusts on its own even if things are slightly off-center. Overall, it’s a great choice if you want something simple, effective, and built to handle kiosk use like a pro.
