mqudsi Mostly Harmless Staff member Jun 30, 2007 #4 No - not Windows\System32\Boot but \Boot You will need to enable the viewing of hidden and system files first (My Computer | Tools | Options | View) Probably easier to just type: Start | Run | C:\Boot Start | Run | D:\Boot and see which of them works.

mqudsi Mostly Harmless Staff member Jun 30, 2007 #6 OK, you're going to have to do it the hard way. Format the XP drive. Boot from the Vista DVD. Select Advanced/Startup Repair. Let it recreate the files and folders it needs and reboot. Good luck.
